A little about Sueñitos — and the person behind it
Sueñitos Bilingual Montessori Microschool was born from a simple belief: every child deserves to be seen, challenged, and celebrated exactly as they are.
I started Sueñitos because I wanted something different for the children in our community. Something smaller, warmer, and more intentional than what traditional schools can offer. A place where kids actually love coming to school.
I grew up in Pecos, Texas — literally in my mother's classroom — so education has been part of my story from the very beginning. I went on to earn a degree in Communications from Texas State University, a Master's in Literacy from UTPB, and I am currently finishing my MBA at Texas Tech University. I spent six years in the classroom, served as a district coordinator, and had the privilege of supporting high-impact tutoring programs at large school districts across the nation.
After taking time away to welcome my own little one, I am back — with more purpose than ever and so much excitement for what Sueñitos is becoming.
Our Bilingual Montessori approach means children learn through hands-on materials, follow their own curiosity, and build real confidence in both English and Spanish. It is not just a program. It is a community.
I would love to meet your family. Reach out anytime.
